    Submissions, summaries of submissions, and/or names and email addresses of people making submissions may be included in publicly available reports to Council or Committee Meetings and Council's website.

    Please note, in accordance with section 18(1)(b) of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW), you are advised that all submissions received by Council will be placed on the appropriate Council file and may be disclosed to Councillors, Council Officers, consultants to Council or members of the public.

    What will you do with my comments?

    Your input will help inform Council decision making and shape the future of Woollahra. Council will record all community feedback and report it to decision makers. 

    How can I have my say?

    If you're reading this FAQ you've already taken the first step to having your say.

    To share your views on any open engagement project, please take a couple of minutes to register on Your Say Woollahra. It's free and easy to get started. After you register, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please confirm your registration, the visit Your Say Woollahra to start sharing your views. You only have to register once to take part in any open project. 

    If you've already registered, just log in to participate.

    The Your Say Woollahra homepage lists all open projects. Each project is different and has different opportunities for the community to get involved. Click on a project that interests you to find out what's going on and how you can have your say. This might involve a survey, online discussion board or submission form. The project might also advertise face to face engagement activities like open days and workshops.

    How does Your Say Woollahra work?

    The first step is to register for Your Say Woollahra. You'll need to create a user name, which is visible to everyone, and fill in the form. We respect your privacy and do not share your personal details. 

    The Your Say Woollahra homepage features a number of projects. Projects under the "Open Projects" heading are open for community participation. Each project is different and will explain how you can have your say.

    Projects under the "Under Review" heading are no longer open to public feedback; however, you can click on the project to read more about it.

    Once a consultation has ended, we are able to record and analyse community feedback to help inform reports to Council and Council decision making. 

    Your Say Woollahra allows us to feedback to the community on the outcomes of the engagement activity. 

    When a project has completed its lifecycle, it is "Archived". Archived projects are still visible to the community, and can be accessed by clicking on the "All Projects" tab.

    What is Your Say Woollahra?

    Your Say Woollahra is Council's online community engagement platform. 

    Here, you'll be able to participate in any open community engagement projects. For example, you may be invited to share your views in discussion forums or surveys, or make submissions to public exhibitions of draft strategies and Council DAs. 

    Each project has links to relevant documents and other useful information, as well as key dates so you can find out what is happening and when.
