New solar lighting to increase safety and community wellbeing

Woollahra Council has installed new low-level solar bollard lighting along 1.5 kilometres of the coastal cliff top walkway from Gap Park to Christison Park.

These lights will encourage recreational use of the pathway during evenings, leading to greater community wellbeing and public safety.

The waist-high lights have been spaced between 6-9 meters apart from each other, depending on terrain and shade in the area.

This project was funded by the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure,Transport, Cities and Regional Development.
