Consultation has now concluded – thank you for your feedback.

You play an important role in helping to shape the future of Woollahra's community facilities.

Community facilities are public places where members of our community gather for recreational, educational, artistic and social activities. Some are staffed by Council (e.g. libraries, community centres, preschools) or community organisations (e.g. Holdsworth, Critical Path); others are unstaffed (e.g. community halls, spaces, rooms for hire).

You can help shape the future of Council’s community facilities us by telling us how you'd like to use them and what you'd like them to offer. We want to hear your experience, ideas and aspirations for the future of community facilities so we can plan to meet changing community needs into the future.

Our Community Facility Study surveys are now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part! Your feedback will make a difference to the future of community facilities in Woollahra.

We'd also like to thank our wonderful community members who stopped by and said hello at our pop-ups in April. Community Services staff were out and about in Woollahra every day over a week to speak with people from across our community. We talked to over a hundred people, signed up new library members and had amazing conversations.

Overall, 147 community members contributed to our surveys.

We also had a great response to our $100 Opal Card competition, where we asked you to describe your community in three words. We had some fantastic answers and it was difficult to choose, but in the end we agreed a winner:

Lynda Glen described her suburb of Double Bay as relaxing, cosmopolitan and convenient.

We're inclined to agree - Congratulations Lynda!

    CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

    Our surveys are now open!

Whether you've hired space in a community facility, attended an event, class or workshop at one -- or have never been to one at all, we'd like to hear your views.

Each survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Please take our Hirer's Survey if you've ever hired space in a community facility.

Please take our General Survey if you've ever attended an event, class or workshop at a community facility, or visited our libraries. The General Survey is also open to anyone who has never been to a community facility.

    Thank you for participating!
