Woollahra Council wants to be a leader in supporting the use of electric vehicles now and in the future.

We prepared a draft amendment to the Woollahra Development Control Plan 2015. Draft Development Control Plan Amendment 9 to support current and future electric vehicle users in our community by making it easier to install charging points and giving the community better access to them. This draft amendment affects all new residential and non-residential development.

    A report on Electric Vehicles: Leading the Way will be considered by Council’s Environmental Planning Committee (EP) on Monday 28 October 2019.

    The meeting will commence at 6.00pm and is open to the public. Interested parties may address the Committee. The meeting will take place in the Thornton Room at Council Chambers - 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay. The report is available on Council’s website
