Council has considered the feedback received last year from the community and has placed an order for the renewal of the dynamic fitness station at Christison Park. The equipment is due to be installed in late June 2021. The project will include renewal of the wetpour rubber surfacing. We will also be replacing the full length of the asphalt pathway between Old South Head Road and the Coastal Walkway and installing a drinking fountain with dog bowl near the new fitness station and sports court.

The three new pieces of dynamic equipment, manufactured by Parkfit, are Aerobic Walker, Shoulder Press and Body Twist. We are retaining the existing Hand Bike, which is still in good condition. A plan of the new fitness station can be seen in the document library to the right.
