Update

The Leasing and Licensing of Council-controlled Land Policy was adopted by Council on 3 June 2024.

Background: The revised policy adds clarity on which leases and licences require a Council resolution

We established a policy for the management of leasing and licensing of Council-controlled land in 2004. The policy helps ensure equitable, transparent and consistent processes for granting leases and licenses over Council land.

We asked for community feedback on a revised version of the policy, the draft Policy for Leasing and Licensing of Council-controlled Land (March 2024) .

The revised policy provides greater clarity on which leases and licenses require a Council resolution and which leases can be granted under delegation to the General Manager.

We invited feedback on our draft Policy for Leasing and Licensing of Council-controlled land. Feedback was open from 5 April - 10 May 2024. Submissions were accepted via the feedback form below or email to records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au
