What does the Library of the future look like to you?

At Woollahra Libraries, our vision is to ‘connect people with ideas’ and create opportunities for lifelong learning.

Council is developing a new five year Library Strategic Plan for 2021-2026 to shape the future direction, services and programs of Woollahra Libraries and we would love to have your input. We want to hear from both our Library customers and those members of the community who currently don't use Woollahra Libraries.

Tell us your ideas and aspirations for Woollahra Libraries by either:

  • Completing a short survey before 12 March 2021. All survey participants can go into the running to win a new iPad - see here for terms and conditions.

  • Speaking with staff at one of our community pop-ups:

    • Five Ways, Paddington (222 Glenmore Rd): 10.00am-12.00pm, Saturday 20 February

    • Edgecliff Centre (203-233 New South Head Rd): 10.00am-12.00pm, Sunday 21 February & 8.00am-10.00am, Friday 26 February

    • Vaucluse shopping district (Cnr New South Head Rd and Laguna St): 10.00am-12.00pm, Monday 22 February

    • Rose Bay New South Head Rd shopping district (5 Dover Rd): 10.00am-12.00pm, Tuesday 23 February

    • Woollahra shopping district (in front of carpark on corner of Dorhauer Lane and Queen St): 3.00pm-5.00pm, Wednesday 24 February

    • Double Bay shopping district (Cnr Bay St and Knox Ln): 10.00am-12.00pm, Thursday 25 February

    • Rose Bay Old South Head Road shopping district (near Hamilton St): 10.00am-12.00pm, Saturday 27 February

    • Kiaora Place, Double Bay: 10.00am-12.00pm, Sunday 28 February

  • Attending a focus group either in person or virtually via Zoom. Please register your interest via the form below. All participants will receive a $30 book voucher as a thank you.

  • Current Library members: 4.00pm - 5.00pm, Monday 22 February at Woollahra Library at Double Bay or 10.00am - 11.00am, Wednesday 24 February at Paddington Library

  • Non-Library members: 6.00pm - 7.00pm, Tuesday 23 February via Zoom

  • Young people (aged 12 to 25 years): 4.00pm - 5.00pm, Tuesday 23 February via Zoom

  • Seniors (aged 65+): 2.00pm - 3.00pm, Monday 22 February at Woollahra Library at Double Bay.

We will use your feedback to inform our Strategic Plan, which will be reported to Council for adoption by June 2021.
