Playspace Strategy

Tell us what you love about your local playground

Play is an important part of growing up and we think playspaces in Woollahra should be fit for everyone.

That's why we're developing a new Playspace Strategy to make sure our playgrounds are safe, accessible and age-appropriate for everyone who uses them now and by future generations.

Our strategy will:

  • identify the best design, use, location and development of play spaces
  • reflect the needs and expectations of our community
  • provide a master plan to facilitate delivery of new and upgraded playspaces.

To have your say on the future of playspaces in Woollahra, register on Your Say Woollahra and then:

  • drop in to our workshop at Double Bay Library on Monday 18 February, 11am-12pm or 5.30-6.30pm
  • take our online survey
  • share your playspace story.

Thank you for helping to make sure our playspaces continue to be community places where people of all ages come together, interact and enjoy the outdoors.

The community playground has always had an important place in Australian culture. Many of us will look back on our childhood with fond memories of playing on the slides and swings with friends and family. Please take a moment and tell us, what is your fondest playspace memory?

Thank you for sharing your story with us.
