Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts, either via survey or at one of our pop-ups in the park, on this exciting new playground design.

In response to community feedback we are adding a second set of monkey bars to the design, adjusting the placement of the wheelchair and pram entry point to improve accessibility, and providing extra screen planting between the playground and neighbouring residents.

We are also moving the proposed accessible mobility parking zone to Fletcher Street instead of Australia Lane.

We are now working on a final plan for construction which will be added to the Your Say page in the coming weeks, with construction expected to commence in mid-late July 2021.
