Plans of Management for Crown Land

A montage of nine images showing a variety of open spaces in Woollahra.

Help us plan for the future management of our Crown land reserves.

Our area has over 20 Crown land reserves, which are owned by the NSW Government and managed by Council.

As a manager of Crown lands, we are required to fulfil obligations under the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and the Local Government Act 1993. Importantly, we also provide this land management framework to conserve our open space values.

Over the next 18 months we will be preparing Plans of Management (PoM) for these Crown land reserves. Some PoMs will cover more than one reserve.

We've created this page to make it easier for you to learn about how we manage Crown lands, to find out when we'll be asking for feedback and to share your views on each PoM. This page will be updated regularly with news articles, key dates and other useful information.

Each PoM will have its own project page. You'll find links to each PoM in the "Related Projects" section of this page.

It's easy to have your say. Just log in or register for Your Say Woollahra.

You can register your interest to receive updates on the Plans of Management straight to your inbox.

Each PoM will have two stages of engagement:

  1. Community survey
  2. Public exhibition of Draft PoM.

Your feedback during the survey period is important, as it will inform the Draft PoM.
