How should we plan for the future management of our Crown land reserve local parks?

We are now preparing a Plan of Management (PoM) for the following six Crown land reserves in our area:

  • Bellevue Hill Park, Bellevue Hill
  • Camp Cove Park (not Camp Cove Beach), Watson's Bay
  • Forsyth Park, Vaucluse
  • Johnston Lookout, Vaucluse
  • Rose Bay Park (adjacent to Police Station, not Lyne Park), Rose Bay
  • Samuel Park, Vaucluse

While these local parks are not necessarily alike, they have been grouped together according to categories set by current legislation. Please see the FAQ for the location and description of each of these reserves. You can also view them on our map.

The existing Plans of Management for these reserves date from 1996. It is important to update and align the new PoMs with our Woollahra 2030 community strategic plan to reflect the values and priorities of our community and to plan for our sustainable future. These include:

  • community wellbeing
  • quality places and spaces
  • a healthy environment
  • community leadership and participation
  • local prosperity.

This survey will be open from Friday 29 November 2019 until 4.30pm on Friday 20 December 2019.

Your feedback is important, as it will inform the Local Parks Draft PoM, and we want to make sure it represents our community's views, concerns and aspirations. In early 2020, the Draft PoM will go on public exhibition and you'll be invited to make a submission on this page.
