The Woollahra Section 7.12 Development Contributions Plan 2021 was endorsed by Council on 26 July 2021, and came into effect on 30 August 2021.
Section 7.12 (previously 94A) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (the Act) allows councils to impose, as a condition of development consent, a requirement that the applicant pay a levy of the percentage of the proposed cost of carrying out the development. For Council to impose a condition under 7.12, a contributions plan must be in place.
The current Section 94A Contributions Plan is now 10 years old, and requires updating. The Draft Plan has been prepared to replace and repeal the existing Woollahra Section 94A Development Contributions Plan 2011, and will apply to all land within the Municipality of Woollahra.
The Draft Plan was endorsed by Council on 26 July 2021, and will come into effect on 30 August 2021.
