Our Community Strategic Plan
This 10-year plan sets our long term vision and objectives. It identifies the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future with a focus on environmental, social, economic and civic leadership objectives. Our current plan will be replaced in 2025 and we are now working on our plan for the next 10 years.
It is a requirement for all councils in NSW to have a community strategic plan which sets out Council's long-term objectives to meet the needs of the local community.
We asked what is important to you
In March 2024 we surveyed more than 500 community members to gather important information to help create our Plan. We received valuable input from our residents on their current and future priorities, needs and concerns.
We're checking back in with the community
Before we progress to the next step, we want to check in with our community to ensure we have the best information to shape the Community Strategic Plan. We hosted two workshops in August and two drop-in sessions in November 2024 where we shared key goals and focus areas identified from our survey in March and asked community members to share their thoughts.
We are also asking the community to share their thoughts via our feedback form or map below.
