Help shape the Woollahra Community Strategic Plan for the next 10 years

Woollahra Council is working on a 10-year plan that sets a long term vision and objectives. Council is asking the community what is important to them to help shape the plan.

Come along to one of our drop-in sessions to share your ideas and feedback.

Our Community Strategic Plan

This 10-year plan sets our long term vision and objectives. It identifies the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future with a focus on environmental, social, economic and civic leadership objectives. Our current plan will be replaced in 2025 and we are now working on our plan for the next 10 years.

It is a requirement for all councils in NSW to have a community strategic plan which sets out Council's long-term objectives to meet the needs of the local community.

We asked what is important to you

In March 2024 we surveyed more than 500 community members to gather important information to help create our Plan. We received valuable input from our residents on their current and future priorities, needs and concerns.

We're checking back in with the community

Before we progress to the next step, we want to check in with our community to ensure we have interpreted the survey results correctly and have the best information to shape the Community Strategic Plan. We hosted two workshops in August and we are hosting two drop-in sessions in November 2024.

Drop-in sessions

We've identified key goals and focus areas and we're asking our community members to spare 15 minutes and join us at one of our convenient drop-in sessions. Come along to Woollahra Library at Double Bay on Thursday 14 November anytime between 5pm-8pm or Friday 15 November anytime between 10am-1pm.

All welcome.
