Our Plans for the future of Woollahra

Woollahra Council has a clear vision for the next ten years: to create a thriving, inclusive, sustainable and resilient community that will benefit future generations. We want to lead on climate action and promote respectful connections between people and place so we that can enhance, protect and celebrate Woollahra’s beauty, heritage and quality of life for the enjoyment of all.

Each newly elected Council is responsible for setting its strategic direction through a Community Strategic Plan and supporting documents including the Delivery Program 2022/23 to 2025/26, Operational Plan 2022/23 and the Long Term Financial Plan 2022 - 2032.

Our community were invited to share their feedback on these draft Plans throughout the exhibition period, running from 6 April - 15 May 2022. After public exhibition, Council staff and Council's Strategic & Corporate Committee reviewed all feedback and submissions, making recommendations for the final Plans in response. The final Plans were adopted by Council 27 June 2022. You can read the final Plans here:
